The Coronatography Project is my personal project and something that allows the families of this rare moment in history (COVID-19 Lockdown) to capture what is was like during the pandemic. Its meant to bring light and hope during such a dark time. This quarantine time capsule will become a part of history and will tell great stories in the future. When everything else is gone, photography is all we have left. I hope this project enlightens and bring smiles… we are in this together! #VegasStrong #familylove
Family #13 – The Escalante Family, one of my favorite families on earth and who I miss SO much are holding it down during quarantine. Dad is still working full time as a GF Sheetmetal worker. His job is at the new casino called Resort World. He has to wear a mask all day as well as have his temperature taken to enter the job site. When he gets home, he goes directly to the shower. Mom is a stay at home mom and now a full time teacher lol.

Their son misses seeing his friends and teammates. Mom misses brunch with her besties, watching her son play little league, going to birthday parties, and just normal life in general! Dad misses coaching little league and going to Dodgers games. However, they now appreciate the times when the store was stocked with food and supplies. During this lock down the family has done lots of home improvement things and landscaped the front yard. They have spent quality time playing cards as a family. Rummy!!!
Their son misses school but mostly because of his friends, his teacher, his coaches, the librarian, and recess. He also misses playing football after school everyday. Mom has really enjoyed it home schooling and has really gotten into it. They do fun science experiments, reading, and journaling. They also go to the park almost every day and swim every night for PE in their backyard pool.

They have a 10 month old baby girl and are praying that they are able to have a big 1st birthday party for her… full of all of there family and friends. They are also hoping for a trip to California to hopefully watch the Dodgers and visit the beach!
