Everything from Maternity to Family to Toddlers, we rocked in the Mountains this year. This was my first year ever offering Mtn Mini Sessions so families could beat the heat and still get their sessions during the summer. While it was 105 degrees in Vegas it was only 85 degrees in the Mtn. I was faced with many challenges, several fires, disabilities, cranky toddlers, rain, wind, bugs (lots of them) and of course the terrain. But even with all those obstacle the entire summer was a success and I cannot wait to find a new location and do it again next year. Not to mention I shot my biggest family yet, 44 amazing people who started my summer off with a bang!
All these sessions were shot from June-Sept 2016. This was also part of a little experiment to which I wanted to see how the weather and climate would change over time. I am amazed at how we started in June with a light yellowish green tone and slowly crept to a rich full green and then yellow and ending with the most amazing fall colors I have ever seen in Vegas. I am so in love with every sessions and its uniqueness. I hope everyone had a wonderful summer shooting with me in the mountains.
