The Coronatography Project is my personal project and something that allows the families of this rare moment in history (COVID-19 Lockdown) to capture what is was like during the pandemic. Its meant to bring light and hope during such a dark time. This quarantine time capsule will become a part of history and will tell great stories in the future. When everything else is gone, photography is all we have left. I hope this project enlightens and bring smiles… we are in this together! #VegasStrong #familylove

Family #1 – The Lambert Family, started off The Coronatography Project by honoring one the weirdest quarantine launched documentaries on Netlfix, THE TIGER KING, and man I laughed hard when I showed up. It was hard to take them seriously but it was a blast and they nailed it.

Tons of families are finding ways to spend their time during the lock down and most are binge watching their favorite shows on TV. Well, with the conveniently timed launch of THE TIGER KING, it became the most talked about show on TV/Netflix with a series of incredible memes on social media. So much so, that almost everyone has found themselves sneaking a peak at the craziness.

This family has the best sense of humor and I am glad I was apart of this time capsule moment. The dad is a carpenter and is still considered essential. Mom works non stop. She is responsible for the state of NV medical staffing contract. She works to insure all the facilities are staffed with extra nurses and techs. The main thing they miss is watching their oldest daughter play volleyball, their son wrestle and their youngest daughter just tagging along.

While on quarantine, we have all learned to appreciate the small things, but for this family they appreciate their kids teachers the most and what they do for the kids. Mom said “I could not be a teacher and get kids to focus and do work.” She also mentioned that she appreciates target mobile pick up and all the workers in the stores. They are the true heroes.

They spend their days doing nothing really, just spending tons of time outside. They play volleyball, the kids ride bikes and scooters and they have been riding their dirt bikes through the neighborhood. The kids very much miss “real” school and cannot wait to go back, even her 3rd grade son who usually hates school. Mom said “NO! I want nothing to do with it,” in regards to homeschooling. That made me laugh cause I can relate. lol

When this quarantine is over, the first place they plan to visit is their favorite place on earth, Disneyland!

Thank you, Lambert Family for sharing your quarantine story.

The Tiger King, Lambert Family!
