The Coronatography Project is my personal project and something that allows the families of this rare moment in history (COVID-19 Lockdown) to capture what is was like during the pandemic. Its meant to bring light and hope during such a dark time. This quarantine time capsule will become a part of history and will tell great stories in the future. When everything else is gone, photography is all we have left. I hope this project enlightens and bring smiles… we are in this together! #VegasStrong #familylove
Family #5 – The Casey Family, from maternity and newborn to quarantine, we have done it all. I love this family and they are amazing! Dad is a Pilot with Alaska Airlines and is home now on a voluntary leave through May 31st. Their family loves having daddy home everyday since he is usually always away traveling! Mom is a Director with one of the Top Mutli-Family Companies and is now on conference calls all day. No fun for mommy!
They miss going to parks and playing with friends! Otherwise, they are enjoying the home time and lack of any commitments. They have learned to appreciate how to really enjoy the simply things in life! They are loving all the family time and cherishing every moment. They also really appreciate having a large backyard to play in. They have really enjoyed cooking together and playing in their back yard more but mom says the back yard is now completely dig up. Having essential jobs have provided them financial relief during this time of stress for so many. They also really appreciate their housekeeper and miss her dearly right now, haha! Boys make tons of messes!
With an almost 2 and 4 year old they mostly miss their friends most. The oldest boy is in preschool and misses everyone at his school. He was so excited when the teachers all coordinated a parade for the kids by visiting their home and celebrating with an Easter parade! He loves connecting with everyone virtually now! Mom said, “Thank goodness we don’t have to worry about homeschooling right now. Whew!” Their oldest is in preschool and does not enjoy the desk work at all, he just wants to play all day and they are letting him do just that….he is getting such amazing bonding time with his little brother. It’s so sweet.
After this lock down is lifted, the family is going OUT TO EAT! They miss going out to eat and not cleaning up or doing dishes afterwards, haha!!
Shhhhh! They actually love being at home and don’t miss going out much! They are enjoying this time together!
