The Coronatography Project is my personal project and something that allows the families of this rare moment in history (COVID-19 Lockdown) to capture what is was like during the pandemic. Its meant to bring light and hope during such a dark time. This quarantine time capsule will become a part of history and will tell great stories in the future. When everything else is gone, photography is all we have left. I hope this project enlightens and bring smiles… we are in this together! #VegasStrong #familylove

Family #6 – The Cowan Family, from being her family photographer to friend/business partner, this girl right here is my one of my best friends. Her family is amazing and while they are not really loving the quarantined life, they do love the extra family time together. I hate that this is the only way I can visit my friend. I stand on the curb and she stands at her door and we yell our conversation. Its fun! She {We} had to shut down our studio and now have no way of making money until the shutdown is released. Dad is still working but because most his business comes from the strip its very slow right now as they have halted orders.

They really miss hanging with friends and Mom is about to go crazy without her GYM time. They now spend their time playing board games and doing puzzles. This family is always on the go, so staying put has been hard for them. They often visit their place in Havasu to get away. They do love that life is a little slower right now.

“The kids miss their activities, Juijitsu and Cheerleading”

Mom has come to appreciate the kids teachers more. She despises homeschooling and is counting down the days until the school year ends. Both kids miss being in school and seeing their friends. Their daughter loves school and is always working hard. Their son just loves his video games. They really want to fire their current teacher, lol!

When the lock down is over, they look forward to getting back to their normal schedule and spending lots of time in Havasu, as usual.

“Don’t lick things and stop touching your face” lol

Thank you to the Cowan Family for sharing their story!
