The {Osibov} Family – 2020 Coronatography Project

The Coronatography Project is my personal project and something that allows the families of this rare moment in history (COVID-19 Lockdown) to capture what is was like during the pandemic. Its meant to bring light and hope during such a dark time. This quarantine time capsule will become a part of history and will tell great stories in the future. When everything else is gone, photography is all we have left. I hope this project enlightens and bring smiles… we are in this together! #VegasStrong #familylove

Family #8 – The Osibov Family, the mom and dad are co-founder’s of nCase Inc., a startup company that was inches away from making great strides when the virus hit. Just like most small businesses, nCase has now taken a new approach to business and how to stay afloat while the economy struggles.

Mom personally miss two things the most: 1) being able to get in the car and visit family in California at the drop of a hat and 2) a sense of normality for her almost 4-year-old, Ryker. He misses his activities, school and friends so much. It’s been hard to have him fully understand much more than “everyone has germs.” Dad would say he misses playing tennis 2-3 times a week the most. Mom is so thankful for this time to really enjoy her 6 month old. The first year of having a baby really flies by and being able to notice all of his tiny but grand spurts of growth has been extra special. Mom has also learned to appreciate a good, cozy sweatshirt and sweatpants too. LOL

Family LOVE!

Mom said something new the family has picked up throughout the day is “Drinking throughout the day?” KIDDING. They haven’t really picked up anything new other than creating a list every morning of activities we are going to do. This has helped Ryker immensely.

Mom is thankful that it was already a norm for her son to get 15-20 minutes a day of homeschooling. We usually are able to squeeze it in when the baby is napping so she can give her son the one-on-one time he needs. Mom is also thankful that “homeschooling” is just writing practice, super simple math, and art time. She miss her oldest son’s school! He may have only been going for three, half days each week but it made a huge impact in there schedule and life. Mom was also on the PTA and miss being involved with the great staff, teachers and fellow parents.

Motherhood – winging it!

When this lockdown is over there plan is to head to California and visit there family. Mom said, “That’s the other side of having a baby during this: our family has missed him growing so rapidly. Although a good massage and pedicure wouldn’t hurt either. ;)”

Thank you to the Osibov Family for sharing your story!
